      PREVENTING YOUTH VIOLENCE: AN OVERVIEW OF THE EVIDENCE Adoption in May by the World Health Assembly of Resolution on preventing interpersonal violence, in particular against women and girls, and against children, reaffirmed the importance of health sector participation in multisectoral efforts to prevent violence. The Virginia Youth Violence Project is a research group composed of faculty and graduate students in the Curry School of Education and Human Development at the University of Virginia.
